On Sunday, March 10, 2024, the Metro Jersey Section of National Council of Jewish Women presented “Female Spies Of WWII.” The event took place at the JCC of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison, NJ 08820.
The thrilling tales of these American female spies were presented. Attendants “met” Vera Atkins, a spymaster during World War II, who trained and recruited many spies.
Alisa Dupuy was the speaker, impersonating Vera Atkins. Alisa is a recently retired French teacher who taught for 27 years in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2006 she created the business, “The Ladies of History,” and now portrays over 30 different women.
