EBJC is thrilled to announce that its Cantor, Larry Brandspiegel, will be the new spiritual leader of East Brunswick Jewish Center beginning August 1st. It is with extreme sadness that Rabbi Pivo had to end his tenure due to failing health. EBJC wishes Rabbi Piov only good health and a good future.
After months of searching for a new rabbi, the decision was made to have Cantor Larry as its spiritual leader. In addition, after years of studying with a renowned Orthodox Rabbi, Cantor Larry just recently received his S’micha and is now Rabbi Larry. Rabbi Larry is a beloved member of its clergy and the transition from Cantor to Rabbi was met with a resounding yes.
