Jlife Buzz- New Professionals Join Rutgers Hillel Staff

Abbey London

     Nancy Bossov and Abbey London have joined the Rutgers Hillel staff. Ms. Bossov is the Reform Community Educator, and Abbey London is the Springboard Innovation Fellow.
    Nancy Bossov (she/her)…is well known in the Reform Movement for work as Religious School Director, Congregational Consultant, Board Trainer, Early Childhood Education Leader, and Community Family Educator. She pioneered developing Early Childhood Education in URJ congregations and helped create the Early Childhood Educators of Reform Judaism.
    Bossov received her Honorary Doctorate from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 2017. She earned a Master’s in Religious Education from HUC-JIR, Master’s in Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from New York University.
    “I’m thrilled to work among outstanding colleagues to nurture the personal growth of our students and bolster their interest in exploring Judaism. We openly seek students’ curiosity, questioning, creativity, and exploration of ‘all kinds of Jewish.’”
     Abbey London (she/they)… went from serving the Ithaca College community in various roles and working at URJ Camp Harlam for five years on staff to her current role at Rutgers Hillel. London earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Management, and Design with a Concentration in Design at Ithaca College. They double minored in Sports Studies and Photography. At Ithaca College, London was involved in the school’s paper, The Ithacan, Ithaca College Hillel, and the Ithaca College Athletics Department. London received awards for their photos and designs in The Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle Awards program and the New York Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. London also participated in a Birthright Israel trip and studied abroad in London.
