Hadassah Southern New Jersey invites you to join us at an elegant cocktail event as the Leadership and Commitment Award from Hadassah’s Southern New Jersey Associates is presented to Elie Honig for his leadership in his profession and commitment to Jewish values.
Elie Honig is the grandson of Holocaust survivors and their stories of resilience and commitment to Jewish life have deeply influenced his values. This will be a nonpartisan event centered on his lived experience, heritage, and the enduring importance of community. His career highlights include serving as a prosecutor for the Southern District of New York, Director of the New Jersey Department of Justice, and recently as an author and commentator, including on antisemitism and Holocaust education.

Chabad’s Jewish Summer Fest at The Ventnor Beach 2026
Experience a taste of Jewish Culture through food, music and art at the 20th Annual Chabad Jewish Summer Fest.
Participants will enjoy an exciting and entertaining evening of pulsating Jewish music, hands on crafts, children’s rides, games and face painting as well as a delicious kosher BBQ offering hot dogs, burgers, falafel and more. The event welcomes the entire community regardless of background or faith.
“We hope to offer children and their families an exciting evening while giving them a positive Jewish experience,” said Rabbi Avrohom Rapoport, the event coordinator.
The Jewish Summer Fest will take place on Sunday, August 9th (weather permitting), from 6-9 pm at Newport Ave. & the Beach, near the Ventnor Library. The concert is free, children’s rides and a craft badge are a $18 donation and food will be for sale.
